The School for Identity, Inclusion, and Equality (S-IIE) is a nomadic educational project that welcomes adults of all ages and social backgrounds, promoting social integration through the collective study of visual arts. The school is currently based in Brussels, Belgium, and functions under the auspices of BXL Refugees - Plateforme Citoyenne de Soutien aux Réfugiés.
The S-IIE project is, among other things, an attempt to connect people and avoid isolation. We believe that the territories we inhabit are substantially conceptual and built through the constant juxtaposition of voices and, in that spirit, the school represents an invitation to imagine, build, and share social space.
